8ateAM: General Pants Sample Sale

A bit late but here it is.

So this time we made it to GP's sample sale in Alexandria. Apparently its held there every year? not too sure but there seems to have been one last year as well. Initially we weren't going to go but since we missed the Minkpink/Evil twin etc sale last month due to Ashley being sick af, we managed to saved a bit of money for this one.

The event went over 2 days @ Unit 25, 30-32 Beaconsfield Street, Alexandria. Wednesday 15 April, 12pm - 6pm and Thursday 16, 12pm -7pm.

We ended up going on Thursday and got there around 3pm. It was less crowded than we expected (previous experience from the Blackmilk sale, waited nearly 2 hours? in line).

I'm just gonna say the walk was bloody annoying... if you can drive, DRIVE there. I cannot stress this more... Its pretty much in the middle of nowhere, not near any shops etc, outside GP's head office? Situated in a small alley theres just racks of clothing, ladies on one side and mens on the other. We forgot to take some shots of the layout and prices, sorry! But i'll explain em anyway.

Pretty much all clothes were at $20 and anything that was denim, sweaters and jackets were at $30, if i recall correctly... anyway Ksubi denim was at $40. There was quite a bit of stock left, I don't think they did a refill as there were still gaps on the racks. Keeping in mind we did go on the Thursday around 3, so the good stuff probably got sold already. Also all the jackets and sweaters were pretty much all gone, especially on the ladies side. Anyway we picked out our stuff and Ash went to pay for the stuff she was certain she wanted.. so this was around 5pm?... 2 minutes later they yell all clothes are 10$. Yep how annoying. She tried to ask if she could get it for $10 by picking out more clothes since they don't do refunds and they're like no. What even is that ==; Sigh.. literally it was 2 minutes or even 1 minute afterwards. After some raging, we got more... everything went down to $10 and yeah. This is some of what Ashley managed to snag.

Ash got a nice check dress as well, however totally forgot to add it in when taking the photos. We'll upload a full outfit of it later, so all good. :)
Further comments on the sale:
Most brands you find there will be the ones generally exclusive to GP eg; Don't Ask Amanda, Subtitled. Ksubi was probably the only renowned brand they had there. Other than that the rest of the items were just small random brands or old stock of brands they don't stock anymore. This was the same with the men's side.
Heres some denim vests Ash managed to get for Jack - $10 each.

Moral of the story just go there earlier and stay to it nearly ends and you'll get all of it for cheap.

Was it worth going? Yes. Only at the end though, if you're getting everything for $10.
